Originally built in 1724, as Cork’s Custom House, the building wastransformed into a magnificent art museum in the late 19th century, while adramatic new gallery extension was added in the year 2000.

Crawford Art Gallery and Cork Printmakers are collaborating to offer threefine art print workshops taking inspiration from the exhibition Heroesand Villains. HEROES & VILLAINS, a selection of works from the collection, explores the archetypes of good and bad characters, and the middle ground between them. Participants will make a print based on the theme and will take their work home with them. Visual aids will also be provided.
Each session lasts 2 hours. Booking essential. No prior experience needed. Children under 10 have to be accompanied by an adult. Not suitable for under 6s. The event is free but places are limited & conditional to priorbooking. Contact Anne or Emma at 021 4907857 / 021 4907862.
